Loazzolo, the courageous terroir of Alta Langa

Isolabella della Croce is located in the heart of a natural amphitheater, at an altitude between 500 and 550 meters, where the vineyards climb steep slopes that approach an 80% gradient. Here, in the highest and wildest Langa, every row is a daily challenge, a heroic act that binds the hand of man to the pure force of nature.

The microclimate is unique: cool nights, breezy days, and large temperature variations give the grapes aromatic intensity, freshness, and structure. The limestone-clay soils, rich in minerals and well-drained, nourish the roots deeply, providing the wines with a vertical, elegant, savory backbone.

The woods surrounding the vineyards create a natural barrier that protects and enriches the landscape, while the underground springs ensure pure and constant water resources, even in the driest periods. It is a lively, dynamic environment, where biodiversity is the protagonist and man is the guardian and never the ruler.

The terroir of Loazzolo is not just a place: it is an identity.
It is what makes our wines recognizable, vibrant, deeply connected to the land that has generated them.
Here, every bottle tells a story of altitude, courage, and respect and harmony with nature.
